In men, prostate specific antigen, or PSA testing helps health care professionals detect and manage prostate cancer, while the Vysis UroVysion noninvasive diagnostic test helps detect changes specifically associated with bladder cancer.
In women, the Vysis PathVysion test provides a DNA-based assessment of HER-2 gene amplification in breast cancer patients, and CA 15-3™** testing aids in the management of Stage II and III breast cancer patients. Abbott also offers the CA 125™** test to assist in the monitoring of ovarian cancer.
