ARCHITECT ci8200 Delivers Results for Largest Preventive Healthcare Center in Malaysia

In March 2011, Malaysia's Minister of Health, YB Dato' Sri Liow Tiong Lai, launched the country's largest center dedicated to preventive healthcare in Malaysia. Outside of Kuala Lumpur, at the Golden Horses Health Sanctuary's new Health Screening Center and Preventive Clinic, individuals may now receive annual health screenings and participate in preventive care and other health improvement-related programs.

Thanks in large part to the high throughput and fast turnaround times of ADD's ARCHITECT ci8200, the new healthcare center is aiming to deliver test results in one day and as a result, maximize the convenience for its patients. With eight clinics - including a metabolic syndrome and obesity clinic, eye care clinic, heart clinic, gastro and liver clinic, health and dietetic clinic, internal medicine and physician clinic, skin and cosmetology clinic, and longevity and management clinic - the Health Screening Center and Preventive Clinic is designed as a one-stop destination for health and wellbeing.

Since its launch in 2000, membership in Golden Horses Health Sanctuary has grown rapidly to more than 13,000 members today and more than 22,000 check-ups completed each year. With the addition of its Health Screening Center and Preventive Clinic, Golden Horses Health Sanctuary expects to be an important domestic provider of preventive healthcare as well as a a provider for health "tourists" from other countries.
