Please do take a moment to view the flash movie on our home page which showcases an important event that took place in October 2009. The recently held South Asia’s 5th Medical Advisory Panel meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The board has now expanded with the addition of 3 new members, an Oncologist and 2 nephrologists from the South Asian region.

With Abbott Diagnostics true tradition of Scientific Leadership; we recently had the 2nd Annual Turning Science Into Caring symposium in Singapore. We were most fortunate to have had distinguished speakers from laboratory medicine and related clinical areas to present on the latest developments in the diagnostic field relevant to improving healthcare. We have also uploaded the abstracts of the presentations and the list of posters showcase in the symposium in the “What’s New in South Asia” section.

This site will also be used to keep you updated on any important scientific symposia and events taking place within South Asia and the new products launched in South Asia. Please take time to click on the icon, “Featured Products” to know about the newly launched Abbott’s products.
